AN IDEA BORN IN A BATH.

Public hot baths are a part
of traditional Japanese culture. These places have long offered men,
women and families a chance to unwind after the stress of the day, and
enjoy a welcome opportunity for relaxation. One notable feature of these
baths is the bottom of the baths itself. It is not smooth like in
swimming pool, but bumpy. The Japanese discovered that placing pebbles
on the floor of their public baths impaired a pleasing and relaxing
